Wholesale Terms & Conditions


Minimum spend per order through our trade portal is $1000, excluding freight. If you wish to place a top up order that totals less than $1000 please email us and we can create a custom invoice for you. Wholesale pricing applies to approved stores with a retail shopfront. Trade pricing applies to approved interior designers, architects, stylists. New customers will be required to provide appropriate proof of business documentation. 



Once your application has been approved (usually within 24-48 hours) you will receive an email notification inviting you to activate your account by creating a username and password. From there you may login at any time to shop and place your trade orders.



Prices and minimums are subject to change without notice. Prices will be shown with appropriate discount level applied automatically, once logged into trade account. 



Full payment is required upfront for orders that are ready to ship.
Pre-orders requires a 20% deposit, with the balance required prior to dispatch. 
Credit accounts may be approved once a long-standing business relationship has been developed. 



Shipping costs are at customers expense and will be charged at checkout. Salt Living does not drop-ship.



We recommend stocking at least 3 different colour ways, in a variety of product lines and sizes. Of our 3 categories bed linen, nursery linen, and table linen - Bedlinen is our best-selling.

Of our bedlinen category : Our quilts and shams are our best sellers, followed by our duvet sets, pillowcases and cushion covers. 

Our best-selling colours are Indigo stripe, French blue and Natural stripe.

Nobody knows your store, style and customers like you do, so please follow your instincts on what to offer but If you would like any further recommendations on what to include in your opening order please don’t hesitate to reach out to us and we will assist you as best we can.



We will provide as much support and resources as we can, to assist you in selling to your customers. We encourage you to use our imagery, and always tag us on social media. If you create any of your own imagery we would appreciate you tagging us also. Please request any swatches / brochures from us as needed. We are always only a phone call or email away if you have questions at all or need anything from us.

Our Salt Living 100% French linen bedding has been environmentally and ethically certified by the European Flax Standard, Oeko-Tex and WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production.)



Upon selling our products, please educate your customers on our Care instructions, for longest life possible.

Machine wash gently with soft detergents and similar colours in cool or warm water, before line drying in shade. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach, soak or use harsh chemicals. Your linen will soften over time, retaining their relaxed, indulgent texture. Avoiding direct sunlight, harsh chemicals and hot water will give our linen its longest life. 



Changes to orders can usually be accommodated before order has been dispatched. If order has been dispatched, order changes cannot be accepted. Order cancellations must be in writing, and received prior to shipment. 



Please examine your order upon arrival. Any shipping-related damage or loss must be photographed and communicated to us immediately. All other damages or shortages must be reported, with photographic evidence, to us within 7 business days of receipt of goods in order for a claim to be honoured. If in stock, replacements will be provided for damaged items. If the item is out of stock, either a credit on future orders or refund to original payment form will be offered.

We are very selective with who we stock, and like to make sure our aesthetic style and values align. Salt Living aims to be mindful of not stocking businesses too close together within the same location, this is to protect the retailer’s right to offer something unique to their customers. If more than one store in a similar location wishes to stock us, we would consider this if the products lines/ colours they carried didn’t overlap. We would investigate and decide on a case by case basis, and communicate with both parties involved at the time.



We approve businesses who share similar style and values to ourselves. We would therefore expect our products to be visually merchandised in a curated, appealing and thoughtful way at all times. We also expect our stockists to maintain an appropriate level of stock on an ongoing basis, this is so our brand is represented as a ‘collection’  creating visual appeal and offering options for people to mix and match together. 

We expect our stockists to sell our products at the correct rrp price, same as our website and no lower or higher.
