Behind the Linen: A Year Inside Salt Living
As the year gently winds down, we have been taking a moment to reflect on what has been a truly full, meaningful and memorable year here at Salt Living, and we wanted to share a few highlights with you.
First, the practical magic.
In 2025, we sold out and restocked four times. Something we never take lightly. Each restock is a reminder that what we are creating is finding its way into real homes, real bedrooms and real lives.
We introduced three new colourways. Indigo, Indigo Ticking and French Blue Thin Stripe. Each inspired by our love of timeless design, soft coastal tones and pieces that quietly belong in your home for years to come.
We also expanded our range with four new product launches. Ruffled valances, bamboo filled quilts, bamboo filled shams and extra deep fitted sheets. All born from listening closely to what you needed and refining every detail along the way. We also introduced our bedding bundles to make it easier to build a beautiful bed in one thoughtful, considered choice.
This year also marked our very first Black Friday sale. Something we approached with care, gratitude and intention, knowing how rarely we do things like that.
Behind the scenes, there was plenty of movement too.
I moved to the Coffs coast. Jamie stepped in as our temporary warehouse manager during a busy period and we were thrilled to welcome Jani as our official warehouse manager. Lesley made the move to Mt Tamborine and continues working with us remotely. Bianca stepped away to welcome her third beautiful daughter. A huge congratulations to Bianca and Wes. Katie recently set off to pursue her own path, beginning with a road trip to Victoria in her new van.
Our wider Salt Living family continues to be the heart of everything we do. Lesley, Lyllie, Jani, Jamie, Steve and Carol all play such an important role in bringing Salt Living to life each day and we are incredibly grateful for the care, dedication and love they pour into this business.
There were also many wins you did not see. Improvements to our systems, processes and ways of working that brought us great pride. While not glamorous, these foundations give us calm, confidence and space to create even better experiences for you.
Looking ahead to 2026, our hearts feel very full.
We are excited for a year of deeper creativity and stronger connection, with so many ideas already taking shape. We will be starting the year with a beautiful neutral collection arriving very soon. Think January. It is a range that feels especially close to our hearts.
