All Salt Living products are made to Australian sizing standards. This page lists our dimensions in both centimetres and inches to help our US customers find the right fit.

Note on Standard pillowcases: Our Australian "Standard" pillowcase (48 × 73 cm / 19" × 28¾") is slightly longer than a US Standard pillow (51 × 66 cm / 20" × 26"). It will fit best over a US Queen-size pillow (51 × 76 cm / 20" × 30"), which is the closest equivalent. If you have US Standard pillows, the case will fit but will have a little extra fabric at the end.
King & European: Our King pillowcase is virtually identical to the US King (51 × 92 cm / 20" × 36") and our European is a near-perfect match for the US Euro square (66 × 66 cm / 26" × 26"). Both are excellent fits.

Quilts are generously oversized. These are finished quilt dimensions — not mattress dimensions. Our quilts are designed with extra drape to hang beautifully over the sides of the bed. The US Queen quilt is an excellent fit for a US Queen mattress. The Single and King Single quilts both drape generously over their respective US bed sizes.
Note on King: Our Australian King quilt (250 × 240 cm / 98½" × 94½") is wider than the US King mattress (193 cm / 76"), which means you'll have extra drape on both sides — many customers love this luxurious look. The AU King quilt is not the same as a US King quilt (which is typically 264 × 218 cm / 104" × 86"). Please check the dimensions carefully before ordering.
A few things to keep in mind
- All Salt Living products are designed and sized to Australian standards. Dimensions listed are finished product measurements, not mattress sizes.
- Bed and mattress size names (Single, Queen, King etc.) do not mean the same thing in Australia and the USA. Always compare the centimetre or inch measurements directly rather than going by name alone.
- The Australian Queen mattress (153 × 203 cm) and US Queen mattress (152 × 203 cm) are nearly identical — our Queen products are a great fit for US Queen beds.
- The Australian King mattress (183 × 203 cm) is 10 cm narrower than the US King (193 × 203 cm). Products sized for an AU King bed will sit slightly short on the sides of a US King mattress.
- Measurements may vary slightly between products due to natural linen relaxation after washing. We recommend washing before use.
- All conversions from cm to inches are rounded to the nearest ¼ inch for readability.
